This year we were lucky enough to be an official charity partner for the MOVE IT show 2022! It was such an amazing event full of opportunities to open up the conversations about racial equality and diversity in the dance industry.

We are so proud of our ambassadors who joined us for the weekend and represented the TIRED movement across the event and in their incredible dance performance. Thank you to everyone who joined the movement and showed their support at the event by wearing one of our TIRED movement t-shirts!

One of our many highlights from the weekend was being invited to speak on the main stage with Sisco Gomez about our movement and the recent launch of SHADES dancewear – which you can watch on our Instagram page @movementtired

Thank you to everyone who came to visit our stand to talk about the push for diversity and those who ordered a SHADES colour match swatch in support of our launch.

Our co-founder Stacey Green hosted a talk on ‘Appreciating Diversity and Respecting Ethnicity’ on Saturday with incredible panellists Liam Francis, Precious Adams, Princess K.

Stacey also had the opportunity of being a panellist on the ‘How to Support Your Children: A Talk for Young Dancer’s Parents’ talk on Friday with Gloria Fuson and Terry Hyde.

The MOVE IT event was an amazing weekend full of important conversations with people from all backgrounds, we are so grateful to MOVE IT and everyone who has given their support since to help drive the change – the more voices we hear, the louder we become!

Weʼre raising £5,000 to help towards our campaign to improve racial equity, representation and inclusion in dance education!
